Module III: Advanced interpolation

Having discussed polynomial interpolation in 1d in intense detail in Module II, here we widen the scope a little. We discuss the problem of building interpolants in multiple-variables (multi-dimensions), which leads to a discussion of tensor-product grids, radial basis functions, and patch interpolation. We revisit 1d interpolation with the idea of piecewise polynomial interpolants (splines!).
